Rémi Fréchette has developed his art through the Kino movement since 2005, and in his studies at Concordia University in Film Production. He made a name for himself with Les Jaunes in 2013, a web series he co-wrote and directed, which became a feature film that traveled in plenty genre film festival. His second web series L'Étrange Province won the Numixs Awards for Humor and Variety in 2016. In 2018 he released the Montreal Dead End anthology, which he co-produced independently, he also directed a segment alongside 17 others filmmakers. He is currently working on two feature film projects, co-hosts the Point de vues podcast ans is programmer at the French Canadian section of Fantasia Festival.
