Mélanie Pilon

Since graduating from theater school in 2003, Mélanie has landed several notable roles on television, in Plan B, Chaos, Alertes, Comme des têtes pas de poules, Jenny, Unit 9, Les Ex, Lance et compte, The Whole Truth, Living Memories, etc. At the theater, she played at the Little Licorne as well as for the Jean Duceppe company. She also performs the role of Roxane in Cyrano de Bergerac, a production by Michèle Deslauriers. In the cinema, she is in the distribution of the films La Petite Reine, by Alexis Durand-Brault, and Inès, by Renée Beaulieu. Since 2015, she gives her own acting workshops for professional actors and coaches regularly on various television productions.
Adding other strings to her bow, she wrote and directed the short film ASSISES, for which she was awarded the ''Honorable Mention Director'' and ''Best Narrative'' at the 2017 Top Short festival as well as ''Best Drama '' at the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival. In 2020, she completed her filmmaking training at INIS and produced the web series PIÉGÉ. Mélanie's work will once again be in the spotlight at the Sydney Web Fest as she will be nominated for "Best director" and the series wins the "Best Student series" award. PIÉGÉ will also win the prize for the best French-Canadian series at the T.O webfest 2021 and will have a long list of nominations in several festivals such as Seoul webfest, Digital webfest and Bilbao Seriesland.
