Benjamin Gagné
Benjamin had his first encounter with the world of cinema at a very young age, creating handmade stop-motion short films with his father. He later became interested in special effects, honing his skills in 3D animation at Cégep du Vieux-Montréal and working both in studios and as a freelance artist. He also completed a bachelor's degree in film production at UQÀM and began working as a first assistant camera and director of photography. He signed the cinematography on Mirko Lafrenière's first funded short film, "Rouge Serpent," and directed a documentary short film distributed by Welcome Aboard, titled "Laissez-nous aller jouer" (2024).
