Simon Paluck

Simon Paluck is a writer/director driven to expand nuanced representation of 2slgbtq+ people. His previous shorts have premiered at multiple international film festivals, most notably at the Academy Qualifying Savannah Film Festival. After receiving a Bell Media emerging talent grant, Simon directed his first documentary. Recently, Simon wrote and directed two short films, supported by the National Film Board of Canada, Canada Council of Arts, and the Ontario Arts Council. His current film INSTA GAY was selected to be part of Telefilm Canada’s Not Short On Talent Program and is currently being distributed by Welcome Aboard. Simon has also received CMF development funding for a one hour TV drama series he co-created and Harold Greenberg Fund to support a feature film he's slated to direct. Simon has also directed multiple national campaigns for Pantene, Hair Biology, AMEX, and Rainbow Railroad. He is currently in production for his first animated short.
