In the midst of the Covid19 pandemic, Steeve Day has been suffering from ALS for 8 years and decides to call for assistance in dying. At the same time, visits to hospitals are suspended. Steeve then decides to rent a hotel room to spend his last days and receive his loved ones. This is the starting point of the film.

JORIS COTTIN
Born Franco-German, trained in New York and adopted by Montreal, Joris Cottin traveled the world as a cinematographer, before moving on to directing. Driven by the desire to share unique stories, emphasizing the image as first expression, Joris invites us to discover “L'Expiration”, his first documentary film.
