NINGRAN CHEN
Following the completion of her Master’s degree in architecture in 2018, the opportunity arose to work alongside Taika Waititi on his television series What We Do In The Shadows. Ningran Chen moved to Toronto to join the production’s talented art department to design the elaborate set of the show's fantastical world, before returning to Montreal to begin her directorial debut on Precious Cargo. The series received ten Emmy nominations in 2020, including Outstanding Production Design For a Narrative Program. Ningran is based in Montreal.
